Admission Procedures
A candidate for admission to DCS must, unless this is their first year of
school, demonstrate good standing both academically and behaviorally from their
previous school. Applicants must also complete an admissions test and submit records from previous schools.
If entering the DCS high school program, students must provide academic
transcripts from an accredited school in order to transfer previous credit to
DCS. The admissions committee is responsible for the final admission decision.
Children who apply for admission to Pre-K must have reached their fourth birthday prior to September 1st and perform satisfactorily on the Pre-K Screening
Assessment.
Candidates for admission to DCS are required to complete the following admission procedures:
Step 1 - Submit the following:
- Application - click to obtain a printable

- Child's Profile - Pre-K and Kindergarten only (available under the
application link)
- Records Release Form available under the application link)
- Student Medical Information & Immunization Form (available under the
application link)
- Placement and Fee Information (available under the application link)
- Two current, color, passport size photos
- Copy of the information pages of the passport or a birth certificate that provides proof of the child's month, day and year of birth. (Non-English
documents must be officially translated.)
- Official school records and transcripts. (Non-English documents must be
officially translated.)
Step 2 - Schedule an interview/testing appointment for your
student and pay the testing fee of $200.00.
Step 3 - The Admissions Committee will review your child's records and test results.
The registrar will inform you of the status of the enrollment application.
Step 4 - When accepted, the registration fee of $300 must be paid to
guarantee enrollment.
